We were delighted to learn that MGM Grand Cairo had chosen to use our music for an International TV campaign to launch their new facility at the New Giza Development in Egypt. The title of the track is ‘Winners’ and you can hear a snippet above.
It’s a big development in the desert that will be completed in 2013. Who knows, one day we might actually go and check it out if we manage to break out of the studio for long enough.

We reworked one of our existing compositions called ‘In the Meantime’ to create a rich musical score for the international advertising campaign for the new Toyota Corolla entitled ‘Dream’. Working in conjunction with Radial and Saatchi, we tailored the music to a fantastic film that is now showing on TV stations across the globe.
The original track ‘In The Meantime’ will be included on a forthcoming album from a very exciting new project we are working on at the moment. Lots of fantastic new music will be ready for your listening pleasure soon. Details of that TBA…

We supplied a hard hitting rock song to soundtrack a new TV advertising campaign for Sony Pictures for the forthcoming FIFA World Cup.
The campaign comprises a series of five adverts, which will run throughout the World Cup across all major TV channels in the UK and is presented in association with some major UK retail brands including: Tesco, Sainsburys, Asda, Play.com, Hmv and Morrisons.

As massive fans of what may possibly be the best TV series of all time ‘Lost’, we were ecstatic when we found out that two Stand Alone Productions tracks had been chosen as title tracks for Sky 1 series finale retrospectives ‘Lost: the End is Nigh’ and ‘Lost: Top 10 Scenes’.

We are intensely proud to continue our long standing association with Teenage Cancer Trust and their fantastic work with young people with cancer. We provided all Mixing and Audio Post Production facilities for 10 nights of concerts at the Royal Albert Hall, which were broadcast on Absolute Radio and also a fantastic TV show for ITV. As this year is the 10th Anniversary of the concerts, TCT pulled an incredible line up to mark this special occasion.

Our track ‘Dissolve the Sun’ was chosen for inclusion in the new french made movie L’Immortel from acclaimed director Richard Berry. It stars the fantastic Jean Reno (Leon / Ronin) as a french mafia boss hell bent on revenge after a botched attempt to assassinate him. The film has been re-titled 22 Bullets for it’s international release in early 2010. We are absolutely stoked to be able to provide some suitably heavy beats to soundtrack some silver screen time for the great Jean Reno. Check out the trailer here…

Mastercard have chosen to use our track ‘If Only’ as the soundtrack to their new national advertising campaign to promote the 2010 Brit Awards. It’s a spikey indie rock track with bags of attitude and packed so full of sugar coated harmonies it may very well rot your teeth.

We teamed up with game developers Black Rock and Disney Interactive Studios to contribute five tracks to the massive new off road ATV game ‘PURE’ on Xbox 360 and PS3. The game features groundbreaking graphics and a fantastic hard hitting soundtrack pack full of beats, break and big riffs. The soundtrack is available on Stand Alone Recordings. ‘Pure’ won the coveted “Best Racing Game Award’ at Game Critics Awards: Best of E3.

We were delighted to be commissioned to produce the music package for a series of TV Idents for Cartoon Network. The brief called for heavy beats, massive rock guitars, fierce electronic elements and deep sub bass. We delivered on all fronts and had fantastic time doing so. Job Done.

We mixed this amazing gig by Noel Gallagher at The Royal Albert Hall for Teenage Cancer Trust. ‘The Dreams We Have As Children’ is available for exclusive download via itunes, and debuted on the itunes Chart at No.1. The track listing took in the highlights of Noel’s Career so far as well as a few special covers and a guest appearance from Paul Weller.

Stand Alone Productions worked on a series of tracks for a hybrid orchestral/ electronic compositions with acclaimed orchestral arranger Paul Mottram. The project utilised the considerable force of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to devastating effect with a full 64-piece orchestra recorded at the world famous Angel Studios in London. The result was a truly jaw dropping collection of hard hitting and high impact tracks that represent some of our finest ever work.

We provided some suitably creepy and disturbing sound design pieces for inclusion in the fantastic Horror Movie ‘Containment’ from trailblazing British director Scott Watson. The Movie features an unidentified virus that turns victims into Zombies and some great music from Stand Alone Productions.
‘Containment’ is showing at various European Film Festivals throughout 2010.

Glorious is the title track of the new career spanning ‘singles collection’ from Natalie and is also available as single. We played lots of instruments and contributed additional production to Natalie’s single Glorious and it sounds fantastic as a result. Proof that even pop pixies can benefit from some west london edge.

We recently completed a series of tracks for an online advertising campaign for Warner Brothers Pictures. The campaign is designed to promote their latest Bluray releases worldwide. The movie clips will appear across a multitude of websites with a different song featured on each advert. We particularly enjoyed putting together the old school funk track for the release of geek chic flick ‘Superbad’.

We were surprised when we learned that both the major political parties in the UK had chosen Stand Alone Productions to provide music for their party political broadcasts in the European Parliamentary Elections. Whatever you make of the policies of The Labour Party or The Conservatives, one thing is for sure: They both have good taste in music. We supplied epic guitar based tracks to both camps.
Stand Alone Productions was commissioned to provide the music package for an interactive video game series for Kelloggs. 30 tracks were supplied to be incorporated into the game and split across 4 different collectible DVD-ROMs. The Promotion was International and on a large scale. It ran alongside TV spots, televised national competitions and a big advertising campaign.
